Mr. Judd's historic areas of practice have been in the areas of real estate and civil litigation, which have included bankruptcy matters and eminent domain.  Significant matters in which he was counsel include:
  
 •    Representation of borrowers in industrial development bond financing.
    
•    Preparation of FHA/FNMA/FHLMC approved documents for real estate subdivision development.
  
 •    Work-out transactions on behalf of developers with commercial lenders.
  
 •    Lead counsel for a Chapter 11 debtor-in-possession oil company that was successfully reorganized despite the fact that the debtor had no regular income.  The assets were marshaled and sold, and a plan of reorganization was approved with a third party developing the remaining assets.
  
 •    Lead counsel for a Chapter 11 debtor-in-possession reorganization for an individual Colorado real estate developer who owned in excess of $750 million gross value of real property.
    
•    Representation of an international waste disposal company in Colorado in the siting and acquisition of new or expansion parts of landfills, as well as siting and acquisition of an autoclave based medical waste disposal facility.
  
 •    Represented contract purchaser in litigation in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma concerning validity of a contract for purchase between the purchaser and Oral Roberts University for purchase of the City of Faith, a development consisting of 2.3 million square feet of office space located in three towers and a four-story pedestal base, together with the 80-acre tract on which the improvements were located.
    
•    Represented purchaser and developer of 320-acre tract in Douglas County, Colorado, who sold partially finished lots to a home builder on a rolling-option agreement.
  
 •    Represented Swiss trust as owner of Colorado company that sold its manufacturing business to a New York Stock Exchange-listed company in a $40 million cash transaction that was tax-free as to the net gain to the selling entity.
  
 •    Represented three separate landowners in eminent domain cases commenced by an urban renewal authority resulting in two valuation hearings before a commission and a jury trial to determine valuation of property.
  
 •    Represented landowner/developer in acquisition of adjoining parcels for commercial development anchored by a 12-screen theatre in Louisville, Colorado, including numerous hearings before the Louisville City Council, sale of the developed parcels to another developer, foreclosure action against the subsequent developer, and Chapter 11 bankruptcy of the subsequent developer.
    
•    Represented numerous clients in various state and federal clean-up actions, including public agency and private-party actions commenced under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act.
    
•    Represented lessee in appeal of possessory interest tax valuations, resulting in valuation which provided significant tax savings to lessee.
  
 •    Represented numerous developers relating to acquisitions, governmental approvals, development, and sale of improved and unimproved properties.
    
•    Represented numerous clients in acquisition, leasing, and sales of shopping centers and other retail developments, including restaurants and other liquor-licensed outlets.
  
 •    Represented purchasers and contract sellers of in-fill development near Cherry Creek Shopping Center.
  
 •    Represented purchasers of property to be annexed to town and contract to sell portion of fully-entitled property to developer of private prison.
  
 •    Represented clients in complex litigation with clients' former accountant.
  
 •    Represented large property owner in complex litigation with contract purchaser/property developer.
